Canon Moreau's 1st Year Anniversary at St. Margaret Mary

Today, a Solemn High Mass was celebrated (instead of our usual Sung High Mass) where Canon Moreau was joined by Father Eric Forbes (Capuchin). Father Forbes, currently the chaplain of a Traditional Latin Mass community in Guam, is in sabbatical and has been visiting some friends in the Bay Area. A native of Guam, he has been celebrating the Traditional Latin Mass in Guam for the past 10 years. One of our college catechism classmates, Mr. Roger Kwan, acted as sub-deacon. It was quite fitting as well since today Canon Moreau also celebrated his 1st Year anniversary of his arrival at St. Margaret Mary. Videos to be posted sometime this week.

By the way, the picture above is part of the "pontifical throne" to be used for next week's 20th Anniversary Pontifical High Mass to be celebrated by his Excellency Oakland Bishop Cordileone. Kudos to Tom Scarry (also one of our classmates at the Young Adult Catechism class) for taking the time and effort in assembling this for next week's special event!
