Photos & Video: Confirmation in the Traditional Rite (May 20, 2010)

Here are some pictures (and a video -- hopefully I can add more, if time permits) taken from the Confirmation Ceremony and Pontifical Low Mass in the Traditional Latin Rite (Extraordinary Form) at St. Margaret Mary's Church last Friday, May 20, 2010. It was a joyful occasion to welcome once again his Excellency, Bishop Salvatore Cordileone (Diocese of Oakland, CA). Reception followed in the Father Kozina Hall.
Canon William Avis (Rector of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest's Apostolate, Old St. Patrick's Oratory at Kansas City, Missouri) giving instructions to the confirmandi, during the practice session before the Confirmation Ceremony.

This is me with Bishop Cordileone. I gave his Excellency a "Brick-by-Brick" mug as a simple token of appreciation for his coming to our parish. This cool mug is available at Fr. John Zuhlsdorf's (aka Father "Z") WDTPRS Cafe Press store.

Q&A with Bishop Cordileone. He remembers being asked by the bishop when he himself was confirmed.
