Picnic for Canon Moreau in occasion of St. Jean-Marie Vianney's feastday

Last week, the feast of St. Jean-Marie Vianney was celebrated in a special way to honor our very own Canon Jean-Marie Moreau. The Young Adults of St. Margaret Mary invited everyone to contribute to a special spiritual bouquet for Canon Moreau that was presented right after the Saturday low mass (Aug. 8, 2009). We all went to Crown Memorial State Beach in Alameda afterwards for a potluck picnic and spent an afternoon just enjoying the beach.

Someone put "100 Chores" at the bottom of the list. Quite interesting!

The following day (Sunday), the External Solemnity of St. Jean-Marie Vianney was celebrated, and after the mass, we had our usual reception. Canon Moreau made an important announcement about the weekly celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass at Five Wounds Portuguese National Church that will be starting on September.
