Blessing of Our Lady's Garden on the Feast of the Assumption (081509)
On the Feast of our Lady's Assumption (August 15, 2009), Canon Jean-Marie Moreau blessed Our Lady's Garden of Thomas & Diana Henriksson's house at Castro Valley, CA. The Henrikssons are the founders of the Seminary Society of St. Margaret Mary. The Seminary Society is a laity-led group of the parish contributing both material and spiritual support to the seminarians of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest in Gricigliano, Italy.

ReplyDeleteThe Seminary Society is not a "group of the parish." It is a group of faithful of the Institute's Oakland Apostolate at St. Margaret Mary's Church. The Board of Directors are priests of the Institute and the President and other officers of the Seminary Society are made up of lay people from the Oakland Apostolate.
